GES12 brings together world-leading scientists in all fields of surface geochemistry and environmental geochemistry. The conference has a strong focus on interactions of the Earth’s spheres: the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere, and how these interactions respond to changing environmental and climate conditions. The overarching theme of GES12 is Earth system interactions on a changing planet. The conference aims to strengthen connections between research disciplines and to establish new networks.
