Is “aging” a disease? The question has various ethical and philosophical components. From a scientific point of view, medicine can help enable healthy aging and possibly, a longer life. The event will be co-hosted by the Google Life Sciences Community at their exceptional site in the Europaalle, right next to the Zürich train station.

• Researchers from the University of Bern and the University of Geneva will share their latest findings as to why some organs age faster than others.
• The Swiss Intellectual Property Institute will survey the IP landscape around biotech and aging, revealing various segments of this exponentially growing market.
• Biotechnet platforms and Google teams will host interactive booths or posters during the coffee break and apéro, allowing participants to informally network according to their scientific interests.
