Cardiology Update belongs to the major meetings in the field of cardiology in Europe. Following a long tradition this will be the 24th Cardiology Update Course to be held every second year in Davos, Switzerland. After a careful restructuring process, the programme will appear in a new shape and as a compact edition of three days. Cardiology Update is a joint educational programme from the Zurich Heart House  University of Zurich, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, the Mayo Clinic, and the University of Michigan School of Medicine. A distinguished international teaching faculty contributes to an outstanding programme on latest scientific and therapeutic developments as well as on new intervention and treatment strategies in cardiology.

This highly acclaimed, CME-accredited programme will give an up-to-date overview about current diagnosis and management of the most important cardiovascular conditions and the new ESC Practice Guidelines. The features of the course are state of the art lectures, interactive case presentations and clinical decision seminars, video life cases, meet the expert sessions as well as poster sessions. The spirit of the course is a stimulating working and learning environment combined with a variety of informal events and opportunities for direct interactions between faculty members, sponsors, and participants.
