In a multi-agency approach experts will highlight specific security-relevant settings and situations and put them up for discussion. Processes, organisations, and situations in custody as well as in field of community sanctions will be addressed.

Building security together also means ensuring protection outside of institutions. Intervision EM is dedicated to the use of electronic monitoring and shows how victims’ security can be improved.

The keynote speakers will explore changes in the perceptions of security thereby considering the tensions existing between security as one among other principles to be observed when enforcing penal sanctions, in particular the legal mandate of resettlement.

The last day of the event will be dedicated to issues regarding electronic monitoring and will be organised by the Swiss EM association.
