2m2c Montreux Music & Convention Centre
This year the Montreux Music & Convention Center is celebrating its 45th anniversary. Since then, it has been hosting congresses, exhibitions, gala dinners, corporate meetings and cultural events. The Centre has been and still is an incredible tool for the economy, the cultural life and international notoriety of the region mainly thanks to its large variety of events.
On the shore of Lake Geneva, the Center benefits from a picturesque lakeside location in a town that is known, not without good reason, as the “pearl of the Swiss Riviera”. The 2m2c is located right in the heart of the town within walking distance of the rail networks, hotels, the Casino, many shops and restaurants.
At the leading edge of technology and professionalism
The highly diversified, completely modular, multipurpose spaces are the perfect match to welcome most of the professional event of the MICE world.
Its 18,000 square metres are divided between two connected buildings which offer 23 modular meeting rooms, a capacity of 100 to 1,800 people depending of the type of event. The famous Auditorium Stravinski well known for its acoustics, aesthetics, technical equipment and modularity may fit for a lecture for 300 people, an 800 guest’s dinner, a corporate convention for 1,800 people or even a concert with a standing audience of 3,000 people.
Both buildings have independent entrances and can be used simultaneously for multiple events as well as for a unique large and complex congress.
The 2m2c is also a team of enthusiastic people. Through the years, they had the opportunity to help organising a multitude of diverse and prestigious events. Thanks to this experience, they developed a know-how about how to prepare and hold a wide range of corporate meetings, congresses, shows and exhibitions. A team of professionals who combine a complete knowledge of the available facilities and equipment with a strong desire to provide you with the advice and solutions you need to make your event a success.
A continuous development
Since its opening in 1973, the Montreux Music & Convention Centre has made regular investments to develop its activity, increase its audience capacity and improve its technological equipment. The first one in 1982 with the extension of the building A, in 1993 with the creation of the Auditorium Stravinski and in 2011 with the acoustic amendments and the modernisation of the entire technical system of the Stravinski which enabled it to become the best multipurpose hall in Europe.
In September 2020, the 2m2c will start a major renovation project in order to meet the new security standards, ensure the sustainability of its facilities and remain ahead of our competitors. This project will make the 2m2c more flexible and increase welcome quality, all the while supporting recurring events and attracting new business.
