The Pavilion: A new, spacious venue for large events

In keeping with its commitment to innovation, Palexpo is enhancing its facilities with The Pavilion – a newly developed, multifunctional venue that is both flexible and fully equipped. Spanning 4,000 m2, The Pavilion accommodates between 1,000 and 4,000 guests, featuring advanced sound and lighting systems, modular seating arrangements, and additional ancillary rooms. Scheduled for availability in 2028, this purpose-built space is ideally suited for congresses, conferences, corporate gatherings, smallscale exhibitions, and banquets, providing optimal conditions for a wide range of largescale events.

In 2026, Geneva will commemorate a century of expertise in event management, beginning with the establishment of the ‘Palais des Expositions de Plainpalais’ in 1926. Since 1981, Palexpo has served as the primary successor to this legacy, building upon the foundations laid in 1926 with a versatile and forwardthinking venue that represented a pivotal development for the city. For over forty years, Palexpo’s dedicated professionals and teams have supported organisers and exhibitors from around the globe, consistently exemplifying Swiss excellence in every aspect of their work.
