Catchy slogans are appealing and memorable. With this in mind, the 31st St. Gallen Infection Day aims to once again leave a lasting impression, brighten the day, and—true to its motto—provide practical, everyday, and above all, easily digestible tips from the entire spectrum of infectious diseases for daily practice.

At the same time, the upcoming Infection Day is also somewhat bittersweet, as Dr. Katia Boggian will be retiring from the clinic at the end of February 2026 and entering (at least infectious disease) retirement. Katia has been a defining figure over the past decades—pragmatic, practical, simply excellent.
