The St. Gallen Anesthesia Revision Course offers a concentrated overview of the field of anesthesia. The most important fundamentals are reviewed and deepened, and the relationship between anesthesiological procedures and problems and anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology is established. The material is presented in a format similar to that required for the specialist examinations. Participants are thus given the opportunity to review, supplement, and consolidate their previously acquired knowledge. Unlike other conferences, the conference deliberately avoids imparting specialized knowledge and current hypotheses.
