The 8th Symposium of the Virtual Alpine Observatory (VAO) brings together researchers, scientists and experts from across Europe to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in Alpine environmental research, atmospheric sciences, climate change and Earth-system science.

The symposium provides an international platform for presenting research, sharing scientific findings and strengthening collaboration between research institutions and observatories working in the Alpine region. Key topics include climate change, air quality, atmospheric processes, meteorology, environmental monitoring, remote sensing and the impacts of changing environmental conditions in the Alps.

At the 8th Symposium of the Virtual Alpine Observatory, participants can explore recent scientific advances, discuss interdisciplinary research and develop new collaborations. The event supports knowledge exchange between researchers and institutions working to better understand the complex interactions between the atmosphere, climate and Alpine environment.

Whether you are a researcher, scientist, environmental expert or academic working in climate and atmospheric sciences, the VAO Symposium offers an opportunity to present research, discover new perspectives and connect with the international scientific community.
