The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva represents the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Geneva and serves as an important link between FAO and the city’s international organizations, diplomatic community, humanitarian agencies, and other global partners.

The office supports cooperation and policy dialogue on key issues related to food security, sustainable agriculture, nutrition, rural development, fisheries, forestry, climate change, and global food systems. Geneva’s role as a major centre for international cooperation makes the liaison office an important platform for connecting FAO’s work with multilateral institutions and global initiatives.
