The Sustainable Buildings and Construction Summit 2026 will take place on 20-22 April 2026 at the Swisstech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, co-organized by EPFL and UNEP as the host of the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC).

More than just a conference, this is a call to action. With a particular focus on developing countries, where the most significant growth and impact in the built environment are expected, the summit aims to empower these regions with knowledge, tools, and opportunities for collaboration. In doing so, it seeks to collectively shape a more sustainable and resilient future for all.

The GlobalABC Annual Assembly 2026, Intergovernmental Council for Buildings and Climate (ICBC) Technical Meeting (TBC), along with Buildings-Cement-Steel Breakthrough Meetings (TBC) will take place at the Summit. As the leading global platform for a zero-emission, efficient, and resilient buildings sector, the GlobalABC Annual Assembly will unite 380+ GlobalABC members from across the public and private sectors to celebrate achievements, share best practices, and set bold priorities for the year ahead.
