The Eighty-first Session of the Working Party on Agricultural Quality Standards (WP.7) is an expert meeting convened by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) to review and update voluntary international quality standards for fresh and processed agricultural products. The session brings together government representatives, industry specialists, statisticians, and technical experts to promote consistent classification and grading criteria globally.

During the WP.7 session, participants address quality standards for a range of agricultural commodities, including fresh fruits and vegetables, dry and dried produce, seeds, and other horticultural products. The agenda typically includes updates to quality parameters, grading protocols, inspection procedures, and harmonized terminology to reflect current scientific knowledge and commercial practices.

The outcomes of the 81st Session of the WP.7 Working Party contribute to improved produce quality assessment, enhanced facilitation of international trade, and strengthened cooperation between stakeholders involved in agricultural production, logistics, and trade.
