Artificial intelligence can be both a ruler and a servant, depending on its application and control. When used ethically and responsibly, AI can serve as a servant to facilitate human tasks and promote progress. But uncontrolled AI could also become ruler if it threatens people’s autonomy and privacy and impairs human freedom of choice. It is up to us to find the balance between these two aspects.
