The OHCHR Minorities Fellowship Program was established in 2005 by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to provide minority rights defenders with the opportunity to learn about the work of UN institutions and mechanisms that deal with human rights, in general, and minority rights, in particular. Participants who complete the fellowship will be able to better assist their organizations and communities in protecting and promoting their rights. The 4 weeks fellowship programme comprise of a 1-week Preparatory Training component in Strasbourg, France and 3-week programme in Geneva. The 2024 cohort will be available in 3 languages: Arabic, English and Russian.
