On behalf of the German, Austrian and Swiss Societies for Hematology and Medical Oncology, we would like to warmly invite you to the upcoming annual meeting in Basel in October 2024. We would like to present you the latest developments in the diagnosis and therapy of hematological and oncological diseases from nationally and internationally recognized experts and share them with you
discuss.

There will also be lectures on preclinical and basic science topics that open up perspectives for future therapy options or clarify the mechanisms of action of current innovative treatment strategies. There will be numerous continuing education offerings covering all aspects of hematology and oncology. There will also be many opportunities to present and discuss original research. Interdisciplinary sessions for nurses and separate presentations by young scientists are also planned.

This annual meeting is a unique opportunity to improve our continuing medical education and network with colleagues from various disciplines and professions. The program is designed so that every specialist has the opportunity to update and deepen their own specialist area, but also to make valuable interprofessional and interdisciplinary contacts.

Even though we will all be very busy with the annual conference, we should not forget to take advantage of the many interesting and beautiful places and places that Basel has to offer. The Rhine can be crossed by boat. There are many beautiful museums, such as the Fondation Beyeler, the new art museum and the pharmacy museum, and the old town of Basel is definitely worth a visit.
