The European Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation will be back in Wengen in 2023

The XXXVI meeting of the society is the unique possibility to share your research and knowledge and to learn from others.

We already have commitment of several great leaders in the field of pulmonary hypertension, cardiothoracic transplantation and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) to strengthen this year’s meeting. Based on the tradition of having interactive sessions with enough planned space for discussion our venue is very well suited for both colleagues starting their career in cardiothoracic transplantation, research or MCS programs in addition to those who are more established.

The ESHLT meetings bring together the family of heart and lung specialists in the broadest sense from all over the world. An important factor in the success of the meeting is the strong and close networking both during the scientific sessions as well as during the well-established social program which promotes getting to know each other and share best practice. To attract young enthusiasts in the field we organize the young investigator sessions (including the prestigious young investigator award!). To learn knowledge outside the box we have presentations on fascinating failures and surprising success and also difficult case studies. The ESHLT organising committee very much encourages you to contribute to these sessions by submitting abstracts.
