The BioScience Network Lausanne together with Nestlé Research and University of Geneva PhD students cordially invite you to the Faces of Industrial Research (FIR) 2024, a one-day symposium. FIR’s primary goal is to spotlight scientific projects undertaken by Swiss companies in the life science sectors. Throughout the event, scientists will present their scientific projects in brief talks. In addition to showcasing their projects, speakers will discuss their career journeys, emphasizing the transition from academia to industry. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask them any burning questions during panel discussions. The symposium will feature networking opportunities during coffee breaks, and an apéro where current PhD students and postdocs can exchange firsthand insights into research in the industry
